Fafard Seed Starter Potting Mix

A fine-textured mix using an original Cornell Peatlite formula, this mix contains nearly equal parts of Canadian sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite with limestone, gypsum, and a wetting agent. Perfect for starting seeds and root cuttings.

Fafard All Purpose Potting Mix

All Purpose Potting Mix is based on the same formula used by professional growers. It co.ntains a computer-blended mix of selected Canadian peat moss, perlite, and vermiculite. Great for indoor and outdoor plants, hanging baskets, seed starting, and window boxes.

Available in 1 cu ft. and 2 cu ft. bags.

Fafard Potting Soil

Fafard potting soil contains a mix of selected peat humus, sand, Canadian sphagnum peat moss, and perlite in a ready-to-use formula that promotes healthy plant growth. Use for house and foliage plants, whiskey barrels, hanging baskets, and window boxes.

Complete Potting Soil

Our standard professional formula has been enhanced with an extended release fertilizer that feeds plants for up to six months. Fafard Professional Potting Mix

This lightweight formula has been pH adjusted and combines Canadian sphagnum peat moss, processed pine bark, vermiculite, and perlite for excellent drainage and great results. Blended for professional growers, this all purpose mix can be used from starting seeds to growing all plants, from ageratum to zinnia. Recommended for potting containers, cuttings, and starting seeds.

Fafard Container Mix

Fafard Container Mix is a blend of Ultra-Peat (an enhanced Canadian peat moss), perlite, and organic fertilizer, pH-adjusted and blended to promote healthy plant growth. It's light, versatile, and easy to use in all containers. Great for containers, pots, and baskets.

Fafard Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss

Fafard peat moss is a great soil enhancer for lawns, flower beds, trees and shrubs, vegetable gardens, and compost bins. It's grown in Fafard-owned peat bogs in Canada.

Fafard Horticultural Perlite

Perlite is one of the original soilless mix components used to formulate professional growing mixes. Perlite is a lightweight mineral particle that helps increase aeration. A proper balance of air and water encourages strong root development for healthy plants.

Fafard Horticultural Vermiculite

Vermiculite is a chemically inert mineral mica. The medium-grade vermiculite can be used in potting soil mixtures to hold more water for better root development. Many growers also use vermiculite to germinate seeds.
